Apprenticeship is a link between Industry and Academia as well as a time-tested institution for training and introducing students to the world of Manufacturing and Commerce. Apprenticeship in India is guided by the Apprentices Act of, 1961 and the Central and State Governments have devised various schemes for further promotion and implementation of Apprenticeship in India.
As such, the Chamber of Small Industry Association (COSIA) and Thane Small Scale Industries Association (TSSIA) in association with GIZ India has organized an Awareness Session on Apprentices Act, 1961 and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme on 9th December 2021 at TSSIA House, Thane at 4.00 p.m.
This session will help Industries to get suitable ITI and Diploma Apprentice through the Apprenticeship Portal and will also provide information about the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the benefits of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and to demonstrate how to register an Industry/Establishment on the Apprenticeship Portal of the Government of India. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A Session.
Mr. M. V. Pillai – Principal & State Apprenticeship Adviser (For Thane –Belapur- Navi Mumbai Zone) Basic Training & Related Instruction Center will be the speaker at this session.
