Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President- CICU & SH. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU in the Joint Statement said that Country Level First Prize for OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) has been won by Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana in the award function held at India International Centre, New Delhi. The 5th Annual Award Function by Responsible Indian BMOs was Organized by Foundation for MSME Clusters.
Sh. Giri Raj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Independent Charge, Ministry of MSME, Government of India graced this event as Chief Guest. They expressed the role of BMOs for the sustainable development of the MSME.
The award was received by Sh. Sarabjeet Singh, Office Representative & Sh. Gaurav Bhola, Liaison Officer of CICU on behalf of the Chamber.
The presentation on the activities and support to the industry of the Chamber was presented by Sh. Sarabjeet Singh & Sh. Gaurav Bhola who is working as an Office representative & Liaison Officer respectively, in the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana.
There were more than 160 applicants for the awards from the Pan India from which only 16 BMOs reached the final round. Out of which CICU has awarded 1st Prize at Country Level in 5th Annual Award Function for Responsible Indian BMOs Organized by Foundation for MSME Clusters.
The Awards were selected on pan India basis by a panel of eminent jury members comprising Sh. Arun Maira, Chairperson of Jury and Chairman of FMC, Sh Ram Manohar Mishra, Development commissioner – MSME, Sh Viraf Mehta, CSR expert and other prominent/distinguished Experts from Terry and other Organizations.
The Awards were presented by Sh Amitabh Kant, CEO Niti Ayog, Sh Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary Ministry of MSME, Sh Ram Manohar Mishra, AS & DC MSME.
The unique distinction for sustainable BMOs called “Responsible Indian BMOs” amongst over 160 participants won by CICU is a recognition of outstanding work done by the Team of CICU for the growth and development of Punjab industry & Society particularly in MSME sector. In lieu of the contributions towards the MSME sector, Chamber has been recognized 1st Prize at Country Level. It is all due to the developmental professional, legendary strategist, credible and responsible industrial personality and approach amongst the MSMEs.
The Award winning is motivation and morale-boosting for the Members of the Chamber. Both of them have assured to keep marching ahead with greater dedication, determination, hard work, devotion and contribution to industrial development in Punjab by the support of their Members.
