CM Yadav Unveils ₹200 Cr Boost for MP Enterprises

At the Madhya Pradesh Startup & Industry Summit 2025 in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a major ₹200 crore funding initiative to empower MSMEs and startups across the state. The event, held under the theme of Swadeshi and Self-Reliance, showcased the MP government’s commitment to strengthening local industries, fostering innovation, and driving employment.

Through a single-click digital transfer, over ₹200 crore in grants were disbursed to more than 700 MSME units across 48 districts. This infusion of financial support is expected to help small enterprises expand production capacity, improve competitiveness, and adopt new technologies.

Expanding Startup Support and Industrial Growth

Under the Startup Policy 2025, over 80 startups received assistance exceeding ₹1 crore to scale their operations, develop digital solutions, and create new jobs. The summit also hosted dedicated sessions on startup growth and export promotion, with experts emphasizing innovation-led growth and sustainable entrepreneurship.

In addition, CM Yadav distributed 200 industrial land allotment letters to enterprises across key manufacturing zones. He also laid the foundation for three new industrial areas worth ₹113.78 crore, aimed at building robust infrastructure for industrial expansion. The Udyam Kranti Yojana supported over 100 beneficiaries with loans and subsidies to encourage youth entrepreneurship.

Public–Private Collaboration and Digital Market Access

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of MSME and the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to enhance digital visibility and market access for local businesses. The Chief Minister also inaugurated three new government office projects worth ₹7.57 crore, improving administrative efficiency.

The summit concluded with a special session on Swadeshi and Swavalamban, underscoring the state’s push for self-reliant development. Entrepreneurs and policymakers highlighted the need to promote local manufacturing and value-added exports as Madhya Pradesh positions itself as a key hub for sustainable industry and innovation.
