Madhya Pradesh has set an ambitious goal to double its startup ecosystem to 10,000 enterprises within the next five years, MSME Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap announced on February 25 at the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit (MP GIS) 2025.

New Policy to Boost Startups and Ease Business Operations

The state government has introduced a new MSME policy focused on transparency, ease of doing business, and faster project approvals. This initiative aims to streamline incentives and ensure timely clearances, making Madhya Pradesh an attractive destination for entrepreneurs.

“We have already registered 5,000 startups, and our target is to expand this number to 10,000 over the next five years,” Kashyap stated.

₹100 Crore Seed Capital Fund to Support Innovation

To further fuel innovation and entrepreneurship, the government will establish a ₹100 crore seed capital fund dedicated to supporting early-stage startups. The fund will help budding entrepreneurs develop and scale new business ideas, particularly in the manufacturing and services sectors.

With these initiatives, Madhya Pradesh is positioning itself as a key hub for startups in India, fostering innovation and economic growth over the next five years.
