The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Intel India have launched the ‘AI for Entrepreneurship’ micro-learning module to equip 1 lakh young innovators with artificial intelligence (AI) skills by 2025. The programme aims to simplify AI concepts and foster entrepreneurial thinking, providing young minds with the knowledge needed to navigate a technology-driven economy.
Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary, highlighted AI’s transformative potential in shaping future entrepreneurs. “Today, we stand at the intersection of innovation and opportunity, where AI has the potential to realise the dreams of tomorrow’s entrepreneurs,” he stated.
Bridging the Digital Divide
The ‘AI for Entrepreneurship’ module is designed to be inclusive, catering to learners from both urban and rural areas. The programme covers AI’s role in business growth, entrepreneurial strategies, and problem-solving, ensuring accessibility for a diverse set of participants.
Gokul Subramaniam, President of Intel India, emphasised AI’s impact on the industry. “By offering home-grown entrepreneurship education content as part of Intel’s AI skilling initiative, we aim to inspire young minds to create innovative business solutions and contribute to India’s societal and economic growth,” he said.

Industry-Endorsed Certification
Participants who complete the module will receive a joint certification from MSDE, NSDC, Skill India, and Intel, further strengthening their credibility in the job market. The initiative is part of India’s broader efforts to accelerate innovation and AI adoption, positioning the country as a hub for emerging technology-driven entrepreneurship.
With this programme, the Centre is taking a strategic step towards future-proofing India’s workforce, ensuring young innovators have the skills to thrive in the evolving business landscape.
