The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium companies (MoMSME) has issued instructions for promoting of MSMEs within the northeastern area and Sikkim of the principal sector scheme “Technology resource Centres”.
With this objective in mind, a specified scheme for ‘merchandising of MSMEs in the North Eastern area and Sikkim’ was authorized on August 02, 2016.
After the merger of the 4 Schemes viz.
- software Room and Technical institutions
- Promotion of MSMEs in the North region and Sikkim3.
- Infrastructure support to MSME testing Centers/ testing Stations/ training Institutes/ Workshop & MSME progress Institutes (area Institutes)
- Capital Outlay on Public Works, a new primary Sector Scheme of “technology and enterprise resource Centers” was once formed and the same was appraised by the EFC in its assembly held on January 16, 2018.
The Scheme has been permitted by way of the entitled Authority. The sub-components of the scheme are to – hooked up of new and modernization of current Mini technology Centres; the progress of latest and existing Industrial Estates; the potential building of Officers along with any other activities.
For scheme for establishing of latest and modernization of current Mini technology, Centres envisions economic help to State Governments for setting up new and modernization of current Mini technology Centers.
The quantum of financial assistance will probably be equal to 90% of the cost of equipment/ gear/ constructions, now not exceeding Rs. 10.00 crore.
But, the federal government of India funding would now not be allowed closer to the cost of land and building’s price might be highest to the extent of 20% most profitable.
