Endorsing Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream of an ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India), Shri Rane emphasized the importance of these tool rooms. Besides education and training, they are at the forefront of creating state-of-the-art products, reinforcing India’s manufacturing capabilities.

Diverse Manufacturing Capacities

The adaptability of these tool rooms is evident from their vast product range, from sports goods to aerospace components. A noteworthy contribution is the Bhubaneswar Tool Room’s manufacturing of over 54,000 aerospace components for the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Moreover, during the Corona pandemic’s challenges, these centres played a critical role in producing essential items like PPE kits, sanitizer machines, and oxygen concentrators.

Shri Rane’s announcement about the inauguration of 15 additional technology centres is a testament to the government’s commitment to further boosting the MSME sector. This initiative aims to solidify India’s position on the global industrial map.
