SME venture has been successfully organized a conference on the topic “Next Generation: to be or not be in the Family Business” which was sponsored by APC by Schneider Electric, with the support of the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), on 27th February, 2019 at the Hotel Rama International, Aurangabad.
SME Venture was delighted to organize this conference to enable SMEs to learn about the importance of engaging the next generation in the family business. Establishing and maintaining high levels of trust and effective communication can be difficult for any family, but it can be particularly challenging when mixed with business and ownership issues. This session has also been focused to help family members communicate effectively, plan succession, train next-gen members, and take the business to the next level.
Ms. Poonam, Assistant Manager of SME Venture has been explained about the necessity of the family business for the SMEs. And she greeted Mr. Anand D. Pole, Secretary General at Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) to welcome the gathering.

In the keynote session, Mr. Ashutosh Shukla, Director – Commercial & Industrial, APC by Schneider Electric, deliberated on “New Innovations in Secure Power Domains”. He explained the importance of UPS backup and APC surge protectors which delivers better reliability of the most important electronic products and he also gave instructions for protecting computers against damage from unexpected power grid changes.
In the next session of the conference, the concept of “Next Generation: to be or not be in the Family Business” was explained by, Dr. Mita Dixit, Co-founder, and Director of Equations Advisors Pvt. Ltd”. Dr. Mita has 24 years of experience in business strategies, marketing, HR, and management consulting. She guides organizations on marketing strategies, branding, and improvement in people performance. Recently she has co-authored “The 5Gs of Family Business”, a practical, insightful book for family businesses and entrepreneurs.
After the successful accomplishment of the conference, Mr. Anand D. Pole, Secretary General at Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) has been rewarded the presentation to the winner of Q&A session.
