Last month, Power2SME and TiE Delhi-NCR, organized the Spirit of Manufacturing Awards at New Delhi. With a total of 200 nominations for five categories, the jury members short-listed the winners based on innovation and their tangible impact in the way they conducted business. Needless to say, it required facts and proof which supported the claims of the business with the jury reviewing the success of the business and going through a number of other critical parameters to short list the companies.
The winners were announced last month at the TiE Global Summit. Eshwar K Vikas, the CEO of Mukunda Foods was awarded the Young Entrepreneur of The Year, Fracktal Works bagged the award for It Adoption and Innovation, the award for creating a Social Impact was won by Help Us Green, Kamini Gupta who is the CEO at EDGEFX won the Woman Entrepreneur of The Year Award and Akansha Vyas of FITED took home the Special Jury Award.
Power2SME empowers the SME sector by providing an impetus through these awards, recognizing them for their achievements and encouraging them to stay competitive. TiE Delhi-NCR has been associated with the awards since its inception in 2014 and has played a pivotal role in helping SMEs by providing novice entrepreneurs, insightful advice and guidance from successful entrepreneurs and professionals. The organization has been closely associated with the Spirit of Manufacturing Awards, celebrating the innovation brought to the industry by young companies.
