Small Industries Development Bank of India – SIDBI in Association with Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka (AWAKE) jointly organised One day WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS DAY on 20.11.2018 was conducted at AWAKE, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. Around 151 Members attended the program.

Mr. Srikanth K S, Deputy General Manager – SIDBI, Explained that how to utilize SIDBI’s new Financial Assistance Schemes and Facilities for MSME’s to get the loans for new Projects, business Expansion, Technology Upgradation and Diversification and Credit Guaranty fund (CGTSME) Schemes Through Category Micro Enterprises for Women entrepreneurs. Mr. V Suresh Babu, Sr. Branch Manager – NSIC gave presentation ON NSIC SCHEMES AND CREDIT FACILITATION FOR MSME. Also covered topics such as Financial schemes under State and central, Subsidy for Participating in the Exhibition, Loan for Fresher and Existing Entrepreneurs, Projects and Appraisal, Preparation of Project report, Documentary for setting up of units, Marketing Support. Dr. Avinash B N, Canara Bank Briefed about MSME loan for Capital Investments like Term Loan for acquisition of fixed assets, Standby credit for capital expenditure and reimbursement of expenditure of fixed assets and also working capital along with Scheme Guidelines Credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs and also explained required documents for getting loan through Project report. Mr. Kishor Jagirdar, Chairman & Managing Director – Infopac talk about E Marketing on how to get orders in Big Basket / Paytm / Filpkart / Jabong and Myntra etc.. Dr. Shobha G, Associate Professor – Department of Human Development and Research Centre Smt VHD Central Institute of Home Science talk on Women and wellness and also Nursery Teachers Training Programs
AWAKE also organized exhibition for Women entrepreneurs on 20.11.2018 at AWAKE premise. The exhibition had 18 Stalls displaying variety of products like Sarees, Jewells, Food Products, Organic Products, Handicraft Items and other Products. Chief Guests and other Dignitaries visited the Exhibition and wished the Entrepreneurs. Ms. Uma T M, President – AWAKE explained how the entire program will be helpful for entrepreneurs and delivered the vote of thanks.
