Chat GPT is in news and all the more reason for its ability to carry an array range of task powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) .This is done by a sibling model to InstructGPT which is trained to follow an instruction in a prompt and provide a detailed response. This language model is designed by OpenAI to respond to text based queries. Large language models perform the task of predicting the next word in a series of words.
A deep learning architecture called Transformer has been used to build CHATGPT enabling it to learn pattern similar to human interactions in language and generate text.
Different applications of ChatGPT are used in chatbots to get automated answers relating to customer service, answer FAQs, or free-flowing conversations with users. CHATGPT can be used in other NLP applications such as text summarization, language translation, and content creation.
The current version is free to use although its not free for OpenAI to continue running it. Currently OPENAI spend 3 million, per month to continue running it. Also CHATGPT has announced a paid version latest called CHATGPT Plus. In this scheme one is in waitlist and pay 20$ per month. During peak time CHATGPT Plus will provide access and faster response with access to new features.
The official App is yet to be released and App stores are full of fake versions and while installing caution should be taken.
Do we need to download CHATGPT? Do we require it?
CHATGPT is a forward technology that bought in revolution because it’s trained to learn what humans mean when they ask any question.
Going via webpage one is not required to download CHATGPT. Navigating to CHATGPT website and one can save it into the Windows APP through Edge which is safe in a way.
We can see how CHATGPT will stimulate dialogue, answer follow-up questions, admit mistakes, challenge incorrect premises and reject inappropriate requests.
For users what does GPT-4 mean?
ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing Chat are reportedly running the same language model developed by Open AI. The language model is called GPT-3.5, and AI community members have long been discussing the possibilities of GPT-4.
According to Forbes, GPT-4 is already ready for release, with some people even saying it’s already been rolled out into Microsoft’s Bing Chat but remains hidden from users.
GPT -4 the upgraded version has been released this week that will be able to turn text prompts into unique videos is being launched this week.
This has been announced by Microsoft Germany’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Andreas Braun, who appeared on stage at the AI in Focus – Digital Kickoff event on March 9. All of the Microsoft officials discussed the upcoming ventures with artificial intelligence language models and the involvement of OpenAI’s GPT series.
With this news, Videos can be made in a prompt and Microsoft has heavily invested with more than $10 billion already pledged, is nearing the end of development for GPT-4. The next upgrade in the underlying technology powering the now immensely popular AI tools.
According to Braun, GPT-4 will allow users to convert text into videos, a feature that is already available on Meta and Google’s AI and unavailable to the public. Additionally, GPT-4 will be much better at generating computer code in a variety of different languages, such as Javascript, Python, and C++ – the three languages that are most commonly used in software development, web development, and data analytics.
The upgraded CHATGPT -4 will be released later this week on Thursday, will have ‘multimodal models’ says Braun.
This means that it will be able to generate content in multiple formats, like audio clips, images and video clips, from a text prompt.
Microsoft also unveiled a host of new products which incorporate it as an AI assistant, like search engine Bing.
‘Make-A-Video’ was trained on images with captions to help it learn about the world and how it is described, and unlabelled videos to determine how the world moves.
Make-A-Video has yet to be made available to the public, but the release of GPT-4.0 has potential to change that. OpenAI could also be working on a mobile app powered by GPT-4.
