SS Innovations wins the prestigious AatmaNirbharBharat Award at ‘National AatmaNirbharBharat E-Summit’

New Delhi, Monday, 4th May 2021: SS Innovations, the creators of South Asia’s First Surgical Robotic System has won the prestigious Aatma-NirBhar Bharat Award on the occasion of ‘National Aatmanirbhar Bharat E-Summit’ for exemplary work towards achieving aatmanirbharta. This achievement is truly a mark of Self Reliance for the company and the nation.

SS Innovations is involved in the design and development of an advanced cost-effective surgical robotic system known as MANTRA, which will benefit many more patients around the world. The MANTRA system was recently utilised for the first in a human pilot study at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, where the surgeons successfully completed 18 complex Urology, Gynaecology and General Surgery procedures in less than a month.

On receiving this award, Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Founder, and Chairman, SS Innovations said, “We are extremely honoured to have received this Aatma-NirBhar Bharat Award. Our vision is to create a technologically advanced system that will be cost-effective, easy to use, and can be applied to all surgical specialties. I am very proud that we could do this type of project which is very unique for our country and will be recognized globally.
